Another Reason LeBron Should Sign With Portland

With Kevin Pritchard out of the picture, LeBron has a chance to make history. While we've had player-coaches before, there is the unprecedented opportunity for LeBron to become the world's first ever player-GM. LeBron's biggest complaint from the past 7 years in Cleveland wasn't the economy or Cleveland's inability to become a prime vacation destination. It was that Danny Ferry and co. couldn't get the right people around him. Mo Williams, Shaq, and Antawn Jamison weren't enough. If LeBron takes over KP's position, he'll have no one to blame but himself. He could hire an intern to crunch the salary cap numbers, and do all the recruiting and decision making himself. Just another step on the route to becoming the Ultimate Global Icon.

And Away, We, Go...

Sometimes, an hour just isn't enough. Since we started hosting Sportsland, Oregon in March, a lot has happened in the world of sports. While we tried to touch on everything, sometimes we got carried away on one subject, sometimes we forgot a subject, and sometimes there was just something bigger and better to talk about. Now, we'll be able to devote more time to every topic, and expand those we talk about during the podcast.

Whether you're looking for info and opinions on the Blazers, Beavers and Ducks, or the Winterhawks, Monarchs, and Pilots, you've found a new home. Also be sure to check back for weekly segments from the podcast, like "This Week in Oregon Sports History," "What Plucks My Duck," and "Reason's Why LeBron Should Sign with Portland."
